HOMEMADE FUN


1. SLIME

*What is this?
Is a sticky substance which your kid will love.
*How to do “slime” at home?
You will need (option 1):
  • 3 spoons of glue
  • 3 spoons of water
  • 1 spoon of washing liquid
  • few drops of food dye (optional)
  • glitter (optional)
You need to mix all the ingredients in a bowl or a cup. The best if you mix it and knead with your hands. Slime must be stored in a closed container.
You will need (option 2):
  • 1 glass of wheat flour
  • 1 glass of potato flour
  • ¾ glass of oil
  • ½ glass of water
  • few drops of food dye (optional)
  • glitter (optional)
You need to mix all the ingredients in a bowl or a cup. The best if you mix it and knead with your hands. If the slime is too hard you need to add a bit of oil, if it’s to soft – a bit of potato flour.
You will need (option3):
  • few spoons of liquid hand soap
  • few spoons of shower gel
  • a bit of salt
  • glitter
Soap and shower gel mix it together in a bowl. Next step – add salt and mix with a spoon. This kid of slime is a bit different but reduce risk of allergy.

2. KINETIC SAND / MOON SAND

* What is this?
Kinetic sand is sand that has had ingredients added to it so that it becomes mouldable like clay. It continues to have grainy properties of sand, creating an interesting texture experience.
Moon sand is given it’s name because of it’s crumbly texture and how similar it looks to the surface of the moon. It can also be moulded when compressed, making it a fabulous for open ended play.
* How to do “kinetic and moon sand” at home?
You will need (option 1 kinetic sand):
  • sand
  • corn starch
  • dish soap
  • water
You will need (option 2 kinetic sand):
  • sand
  • corn starch
  • water
  • food dye
  • tea tree oil (optional)
You will need (option 3 kinetic sand):
  • sand
  • glue
  • corn starch
You will need (option 4 moon sand):
  • flour
  • vegetable oil
  • food dye
You will need (option 5 moon sand):
  • flour
  • baby oil
You will need (option 6 moon sand):
  • potato flour
  • shaving cream
Making kinetic and moon sand is very easy. You just have to mix all the ingredients in a bowl and you can start to play.

3. PLAY DOUGH

* What is this?
Play dough (play doh) is a modeling compound used by young children for arts and crafts projects. * How to do “play dough” at home?
You will need
:
  • 2 glasses of flour
  • 1 glass of salt
  • 2 glasses of water
  • 2 spoons of oil
  • 1 tea spoon of lemon juice
  • food dye
Mix all the ingredients. You should get consistency similar to pancakes mix. Next you have to boil it on a small fire (all the time mixing).

4. GIANT BUBBLES

* What is this?
Giant bubbles are loved by all kids bubbles in much bigger sizes.
* How to do “giant bubbles” at home?
You will need (option 1):
  • 1 glass of dish soap
  • 10 glasses of water
  • 10 drops of glycerine for 1 liter of liquid
  • You will need (option 2):
  • 6 glasses of water
  • ½ glass of dish soap
  • ½ glass of corn starch
  • 1 spoon of baking powder
  • 1 spoon of glycerine
You will need (extra):
  • 2 sticks
  • rope
All the ingredients mix in a basket or bowl. Close the rope on the sticks on the way you like it. Remember you have to create t list one circle. Enjoy
